Natural Ways to Lighten Dark Intimate Skin:
1. Massage the Area with Aloe Vera Gel:
From soothing to burns to the treatment of skin allergies, Aloe Vera is the ideal solution for most skin problems. Studies have linked its active ingredient aloin to skin lightening and depigmentation.
How to use it: You can buy the gel in a store or cut a sheet and take it out yourself. Apply to the area for 20 minutes and wash.
2. Give Some Mulberry Extract:
Although it is native to China, mulberry extract has gained popularity in the West due to its lightening properties for the skin. Studies have shown that the extract derived from the leaves of mulberry inhibits melanin and darkening of the skin. Citrus fruits, in turn, contain vitamin C that inhibits the production of pigments and acts as a natural bleach. However, it is known to cause itching, rash and skin allergies, so if you decide to give the old “bleaching lemon” trick a chance, it is better to add it to something moisturizing.
How to use it: Add the lemon juice to the papaya paste and apply it on the affected area for 15 minutes before washing it.
5. Use Licorice Root Regularly:
Licorice inhibits a melanin-producing enzyme called tyrosinase and, therefore, is effective in lightening the skin. It is often used to also reduce tanning.
How to use it: Add licorice root powder to water or rose water to make a paste. Apply this on the affected area for 15 minutes and wash it.
